"Best crew to kitesurf with! They are knowledgeable, helpful and just super cool to hang with. There are learning pains such as setting up, switching kites, canceled days with no wind, wiping out and chasing your board - you get used to it over time with the help of supportive instructors who hype you up. This sport is a ton of fun and satisfies adrenaline cravings. So grateful to Bart for his flexibility, communication and overall awesomeness. Bart is #1!"

"Was visiting LA so I didn't have my stuff, I booked a gear rental on the Website. It was easy ! I showed up the next day for a session. The people from the school really friendly. I could use a Core kite and everything I needed. I had a great session on the water, couldn't ask for more !"

"I can't say enough good things about SoCal Kitesurfing. From my first experience taking beginner lesson packages about 2 years ago to almost daily encounters with Bart and his pro staff, I have been instructed well and have developed a slight addiction to this wonderful sport. Firstly, my lessons were always easily arranged online and I would be updated if there was no wind that day and given a chance to reschedule. My instructor led me through the basics and always stressed safety. Speaking of safety, Bart will frequently and gently help me do things in a safer way on and off the water. Things can get crazy quickly, so it's always good to be aware and armed with knowledge. The instruction I received was well paced and definitely individualized to fit my unique needs. I have recently taken a few lessons in jumping, transitions, and sel-rescue from Bart. He is always a pleasure to deal with and not more than 5 minutes go by where you won't hear his hearty laughter echoing on the beach. I feel part of the Socal Kite family these days and appreciate all the advice and the encouragement that the SoCal Kite team is always generously giving. From tailored lessons, to advice about gear, wind conditions, destinations to visit, SoCal Kite is a trustworthy source of information and a fun place to relax and chat after a day on the water. This is a pro operation in every way, and Bart and his team infectiously share their love of this sport to all who approach the tent. It's an amazingly fun sport and if you're at all considering checking it out, I would highly recommend SoCal Kitesurfing as a great place to start."

"Had an awesome time kiting on 2 separate occasions! Equipment was in great condition, some of the kites they rent are brand new and the boards all perfect. Bart & the team were friendly and had all kinds of feedback and tips & trics even though I was only renting. One comment I would make is I wish they were open later than 5:30pm because the sun is still up, more fun can be had! Great time though"

"On Saturday, May 13, 2023, I took the beginner's lesson to learn the proper way to fly the kite. Bart responded quickly to my questions and was able to schedule me in on short notice. My instructor was Sean and he obviously knew this sport and his job well. He explained everything in a way that was easy to understand and he was enthusiastic about teaching this sport. He was very focused on the safety procedures and just a cool guy to talk to. I'm very happy with my experience and I'm going to continue taking instruction with SoCal Kitesurfing until I'm up and kitesurfing on my own. Thanks Bart and Sean! See you next time I'm in town."
