"Wow! What an amazing place! Prime location on the lagoon, the staff was super helpful, the rooms were huge (villa style room) and the food was perfect! My first time kitesurfing and I felt super safe with the teachers, we will definitely be back!"

"The hotel staff and the kitesurfing staff couldn’t be more different (different companies). Kiteworldwide absolutely fantastic tuition and vibes, great experience all round. Zenith, a terrible experience (and because this review is under zenith, I’m giving 1 star). Cold showers all week and there was no forewarning about the pool being empty under maintenance and we were given a false guarantees that the pool would be filled in 2 days time, and then the next day (after 2 days time) and then by that evening (after 3 days). Leaving just three days left of our holiday. By the final day of a 7 night holiday, it was knee deep. Each day the pool wasn’t being filled it was because it was clear that it was going to be expensive for the owner to turn the taps on, I was told. I requested that it be prioritised each day it wasn’t filled and by 3 days in to speak to the owner each day. Each day I was told he was busy or he was not at the hotel. 10 minutes after being told he was in town and would be there all day, I saw him in the kitchen relaxing with other staff members. At the end when we were leaving and asked to settle up the drinks bill, I said I wanted to speak to the owner before settling anything up as I wanted to request a partial refund for the fact the main facility of the hotel was not functioning. I was then told he had flown off to Spain. The big strong local barman then intimidated me saying aggressively I couldn’t leave without paying the relatively small bar tab. I obviously didn’t have an option as I was concerned for mine and my girlfriends well-being at this point. Hopefully the hotel changes ownership or kiteworldwide find a different base to complement their service!"

"Nice position and well maintained. It comes with a package with the surf school which it is not so clear in its terms. We had a beginner and intermediate package and were asked to pay on site for extra sessions on the beginner package, which was odd. We did none of the "included" excursions like the white dune (maybe not advanced enough?) or the visit to Dakhla (only on Saturdays) and the SUP was not so available as paddles were missing. There was a fine line between the course and rental package which seemed not to differ almost at all. Food was very good and personnel very kind. I think that overall a more honest advertisement would make the expectations of the customer more realistic and would allow a better choice of alternative offers and packages. Eventually, though we liked the place and atmosphere the Zenith was overpriced given that the packages we bought were not as inclusive or complete as advertised."

"Don't book there!!! Several group of kiters have had a terrible experience after booking their vacations at le Zenith. Bookings canceled because the owner was able to sell for higher price afterwards, the taxi driver would bring people to an hotel downtown without even telling, the owner would not even have the courage to meet angry customers... Several of the five stars opinions published here really read an awkward french and look fake to me."
