Local authorities are trying to move the kiters to a less crowded spot in from of beach pavilion "Offshore", which is located some 500 m south of the pavilion "Joep". So far the kiters are allowed to use the beach everywhere, but kiters are instructed to launch their kite quickly and get on the water in order not to bother people walking on the beach. Parking is only a problem during hot days of the year in July and August. When the wind is blowing at 4 Bft or higher parking becomes less of a problem.
