How to get there
Basically the only way to get to the Philippines is by plane. Manila and Cebu are the only major entry points. There are flights between the Philippines and plenty of Asian cities, Australia, New Zealand and the USA. There are also flights between Davao in Mindanao and Manado on the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. The island is really small, 1 km wide and 7 km long. You can cycle around quite easily or hire a dirt bike to see the island. The local transport is a bicycle with a side cart. These are everywhere and are really cheap - don't take the first price offered. Crocodile is located at the southeast end of the island.

Boracay / Tambisaan Beach, Philippines is a
Chop spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Small size.
This beach is a great place for advanced and expert riders only. There are many hazards to be aware of. The first being jagged volcanic rock islands and shoreline in the immediate area. The best place to launch is near the Tambisaan Beach sign.
At low tide there are several coral heads that break the surface out in front of the launching area. Also you will find about 20 or so buoys with lines attached floating out there. There is a strong current at certain phases of the tide. During the day sometimes many small boats will moor and deposit tourist snorkelers in the area of the buoys.
