How to get there
From Luis Eduardo Magalhaes International Airport to Saubara, about 1 hour and 30 minutes. First get CIA road until you get to BR 101 (state highway). From there go (50 minutes) to Santo Amaro (known city) and from there about 20 minutes on BA 878.

At high tide the sand is soft and almost white but at low tide some mud and sharp shells start to show up and a rubber boot is a good option so you don't cut your feet. Very good launch/land area, except at totally high tide. There is a good grass area also. Mangrove vegetation area near.
