on this spot.
Corsica / La Tonnara, France is a
Chop, Medium waves and Big waves spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Small size.
Small beach. Soft sand, rocks on both ends. Enough space to launch and land a kite. When going out with winds from the west walk up to the southern point of the beach before going out. There is very little space downwind before you're on the rocks! Definitely not a beginners spot. No shore break because of island that brakes the swell. Lots of people during summer.
Mediterranean Sea. Wind swell up to 3-4 meters after several days of wind. Can be choppy. With Mistral from the Northwest La Tonarra is one of the best wave spots on the southern part of Corsica.
