at Daymer Bay, England (UK).
A typical windy spell starts with Southerly winds, swings West and goes finally North. North has the cleanest wind, SW can be very gusty. Wind speeds are very variable. Take care in a westerly wind as this is straight onshore and this beach can get very busy. A hill to East can disturb the wind.

Beach and Tide Conditions
Daymer Bay, England (UK) is a
Shallow, Flat, Chop and Medium waves spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Tidal size.
Very nice sandy beach. Clean. Lots of space, at low tide even too much (long walk). Little room to rig on a very high tide.
Clean water, high tidal range (6m), all condition from perfectly flat to clean 6ft waves. Very mixed conditions. Good for wave beginners since the waves become smooth after breaking with no hard shore break. The spot is located on an estuary outlet. Sandbar at mouth with waves. Totally beginner windsurfers should avoid the midstream area at half ebb tide. The outgoing current can reach up to 5 knots, with risk of being swept onto the Doom Bar or Trebetherick Point.
