Water: winter quite cold, approx. 11°C, summer up to approx. 16°C. Neoprene is required all year. Only on some hot summer days you can ride in shorts.

Recommended wind for kitesurfing is wind coming from N, NNE, NE, SSE, S and SSW .

There is Thermal and Frontal wind at El Desierto, Argentina.

Approx. 2-3 kiteable days per week. Usual directions SE, S and NE. Winter: best wind is SE and S, from 10-35 knots. Depending of frontal systems. Summer: best wind is NE. It is a thermal wind starting at 1pm approx. up to 20 knots, but it is not very predictable. You can also get on summer some frontal systems from the South an SE.

Wind usually blows from NE, SSW, SW, WSW, WNW and NW on the spot.
