Generally great weather all year. Air temperature 32°C and water 27-28°C. Shorts is all you need but maybe a rash guard is good as sun protection. The best time to go is December to March, mainly sunny and very consistent winds. Maldives have no rainy season but stormy weather when the monsoon changes from NE to SW. This normally occurs in May when heavy rain storms passes through. Generally a few short rain showers per week in the summer. Almost nothing in the winter.
