How to get there
Drive on A29 to its end and continue on B210 to Jever and Wittmund. From Wittmund drive to Esens and then to Bensersiel. From here take a boat to Langeoog. No cars allowed on the island. Get to the north of the island.

Summer is nice and warm. High season a shorty is ok, a few weeks with just shorts is possible. Usually a wetsuit is always needed. Water max 22°C in summer, normally around 15°C. Winter gets cold, but a thick wetsuit, gloves, mask and shoes make kiting almost year-round possible. Air: summer between 20-30°C, spring and fall around 15°C.

This beach offers all kind of conditions. On high tide nice waves, on coming high tide smaller waves and on low tide a very nice shallow area with flat water between the beach and the sandbar. Current can be stronger. Best waves with westerlies.
