Be warned if you get washed/dragged up the river towards Hayle harbor you should land/secure your gear on the shore and walk back up to the river mouth before relaunching. Please remember that this is the entrance to a busy working harbor. Leave plenty of space for fishing boats and make it clear that you are moving out of their way.
