Long Beach Island / 25th Street, New Jersey (USA) is a
Shallow, Flat and Chop spot.
There is nowhere to rig on the beach. Very tight. If you swim to the 1st island just off-shore and go to the furthest point there is a large flat grassy area to launch.
Very shallow for beginners but must swim through overhead water thru a channel to get to the shallow water with outer mud flats for protected ultra flat water. High tide is recommended or at least carry a small fin. Weed fins are necessary during the summer. This area is a little tight for novices kitesurfers because there isn't much room to go down wind.
