Nordborg, Denmark is a
Shallow, Flat, Chop, Small waves and Medium waves spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Big size.
The beach which is wide and almost completely without rocks, clams, seaweed etc., also in the water. On days with not too many other people on the beach, you will have more than plenty of space to launch and land your kite which is nice for beginners or those who like to bring more than one kite.
Shallow area. With strong NW wind nice waves. To the right of the small bridge you will find a vast area with shallow waters and a number of sandbars. About 500 meters out is “Pøls Rev”/”Pøl’s Reef” that mostly consists of rocks and mussels; both the sandbars and the reef will be exposed at ebb tide and in strong winds. These conditions make Nordals a great spot for beginners pay attention to the ocean floor. To the left of the bridge the water is deeper, but like on the right side, the seabed is covered in fine sand very far off the coast. Wave-loving kiters can find some really big ones on days with strong winds or gale.
