How to get there
From Corpus Christi downtown get onto 181 and drive towards Portland. Drive across the first, and high bridge, then take the first exit after it and turn right. Now drive to the beach and park next to it.

Choppy water with small waves with the normal SE wind. Three sandbars that go from about 8ft to 3ft in between. Large rock hazards behind Villa Del Sol Condos, stay clear of area about 5 ft out behind the public showers and covered picnic tables. Choppy conditions make for huge air.
