How to get there
From Hamburg or Luebeck drive North on the A1 towards Puttgarden. You can exit either at Timmendorfer Strand or Pansdorf. If you exit in Timmendorf, drive towards Timmendorf. Just before the village begins, take a right after driving under a bridge,and get on the B76. Follow it until you see the beach and the `Holsten Therme`. Just behind the Therme you will find the beach. If you exit at Pansdorf, drive towards Scharbeutz. In Scharbeutz you will get to a circle, take the first right and stay on this road (B76) until you hit the water. Drive until the next beach entrance and park. Parking will be no problem in off-season. High season on weekends is very packed.
