How to get there
How to get to Essaouira-Bus: you can take the CTM luxury bus lines or less expensive bus lines that operate from Casablanca and Agadir. From Marrakesh, the best option is to take the railway owned company Supratours that runs a bus from the train station in Marrakesh to the center of Essaouira. Taxi: it is worth taking a taxi from the airport or from the bus station since it is not too expensive. The grand taxi lot is next to the bus station. You can also take a petit taxi to get around town. From Essaouira south for another hour to Sidi Kaouki (about 30km and 30 minutes).

Beach and Tide Conditions
Sidi Kaouki, Morocco is a
Shallow, Flat, Chop, Small waves and Medium waves spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Medium size.
Long and wide beach (couple of kilometers), soft Sahara sand. No rocks (apart from next to the river mouth) or pebbles and more than enough space for landing and launching. Heaps of space and impossible to get crowded.
Tides are not abnormal. Generally flat, however does catch the Atlantic swell. Between the months of October to April, Atlantic storms produce large swells which offer excellent wave conditions all the way up and down the coast from Oualidia to Agadir. The waves tend to be bigger than in the bay of Essaouira, with more shore break. It is quite an open bay, and there are no security boats in the water.
