Squamish has the most reliable wind near Vancouver from April to October. Typically we are on 10 meter kites. Very reliable 17-24 knot thermal inflow wind. Usually steady. During the summer the wind turns on like a light switch at around 11am.
Wind usually blows from SSW, SW and WSW on the spot.
The best moments to come to Squamish Spit, Canada are May, June, July, August and September .
