How to get there
Get to Sylt either via car train or the cheaper alternative is via ferry from the island Romo (Denmark). From Westerland drive up north towards Kampen and then List. Before List turn left at the signs to Ellenbogen. From List find the signs to Ellenbogen. Before you enter the Ellenbogen, you have to pay to access it. Follow the road (drive carefully and watch out for sheep) until you see the water to the right very close. Find the small parking lot (first one to the left) and the kite beach. Windsurfers park further to the end of the road.

Always be aware that you are on a private property and kiters are only tolerated. Be careful, the water gets really flat. Do not kite on the north beach of Ellenbogen, since there is a strong current which can suck you out to the open sea.
