How to get there
You have to go to Rostock. From Berlin and Hamburg by train will be the best. By car is also no problem, you need around 2,5 hrs. In Rostock you have to go to Warnemuende by car via the road B5-look to the signs. By train you have to take the S-Bahn direction Warnemuende, every 10min. In Warnemuende look for a big white hotel (Neptun) and walk there. In front of it you will find the beach!.

The beach is 400 meters wide and there is enough space to launch and land a kite, but at summertime, July and August, there are plenty of tourists and so you will have no chance to go out, but at stormy winds you can also go out. There is a special kite zone in front of the Hotel Neptun (the biggest one).
Baltic Sea - no tide! The waves become 1-2m high, choppy or real, depends on wind strength and direction. There are no obstacles in the water and you do not need shoes.
