Wolderwijd / Strand Horst, Netherlands is a
Shallow, Flat and Chop spot.
The
launching/landing area
is reported to be of
Small size.
It's a soft sand beach of 30x100m. There are no shells or rocks on the beach. The south side of the beach is usually used by kitesurfers and the north side by windsurfers. There is more than enough space to launch and land your kite. There are a couple of beaches at the water side and also a big parts of grass. Nice thing here is that dogs are not allowed during spring/summer. Special entry only with east or south winds (gusty).
Waist deep water for hundreds of meters. Flat water. No tide. Only in strong wind conditions some chop. Windsurfers should bring their weed fins.
